RAY'S FAMOUS BEER NUTS 1/2 c. water 1 T. maple flavoring 1 c. sugar 1 lb. raw Spanish peanuts Put all ingredients into a heavy pan with peanuts. Bring to boil over medium heat. Boil and stir constantly until all the liquid is gone. Spread on cookie sheet and salt. Bake 15 minutes at 300 degrees. Take out and stir. Bake 15 minutes more at 300 degrees. Let cool and eat!
